Regional media coverage in Westmeath's Athlone Advertiser on 23 March 2012 when Nuala Holloway received a letter of thanks from US President Barack Obama for her Oil on Canvas painting "Famine Ship - Jeanie Johnston". The painting was accepted by the US Embassy in Dublin as a gift for the US President on his first official state visit to Ireland in 2011
