"The Eyewitness Account of the 1916 Rising by Joseph Holloway" Compiled by Nuala Holloway
My compilation of the eyewitness account of the 1916 Rising by Joseph Holloway, architect of the original Abbey Theatre and diarist was printed in "Ireland's Own". My research brought me to the National Library in Dublin and in touch with his highly protected hand written diaries in the Joseph Holloway collection, where I had the complex task of finding these specific entries and deciphering his hand writing.
